Kyrie: 1999-2011

Winter came early for Kyrie.

She collapsed this morning, and I rushed her to the vet. They were unable to do anything for her pain and so I let her go.

So sorry, Christie. The older borzoi are, well, something to hug often and give extra treats. My 10 year old Zara likes this. While I know she won't be here forever, hard to imagine her not sleeping by my bed and greeting me at the door. Puppy, now 1 year old Sully has brightened our lives, but it's the end of an era when a special one leaves. I'll light a candle for her, and you.
