Tennessee Attorney General asked to investigate Memphis Animal Shelter

MemphisYB Breaking via YesBiscuit!:

Because of widespread malfeasance at Memphis Animal Services (MAS), which implicates the staff, the director, the city council, the city attorney, and the Mayor, Nathan Winograd, director of the No Kill Advocacy Center and Shirley Thistlethwaite, author of the YesBiscuit blog, are calling for the TN Attorney General's office to initiate litigation with the goal of placing the agency into receivership.
