FIVE YEARS, Brent? I feel old. I remember the first time one of your posts came across my radar, and it really does feel more like, you know, yesterday.
Seriously, lamentations at the passing of time aside, you have become one of a very small handful of blogs I still read every single day, because you consistently write in that "sweet spot" where the human-animal bond is at the center of everything, but within a framework of journalism, reliable information, thoughtful commentary, and an unflinching focus on issues.
