The doctors filed in as a group, and solemnly said that my mom wasn't stable enough to transport, and if there was anyone who hadn't said goodbye, they should come today.

With every word I feel your pain, your anger, your frustration, your heartbreak. I am so sorry Christie. I pray that your mom is peaceful and that somewhere down the road the happy memories will lessen the pain you are in right now.

My heart goes out to you on the loss of your Mom. I know how painful this is;I found comfort in the fact that I was there for my Mom--as you were with your Mom. We honor those we love with our time and ourselves. In the end, it's all that really matters. Peace to you and your family.
