2,500 words on ANY subject is too long. People have short attention spans. :)


If that were true, no one would read books. And all my highest traffic blog entries are the really, really long ones.

Not that I'm suggesting 600 words isn't the right length for a column. But not everything is a column. And I find longer things easier to write, which is a seperate issue from whether or not anyone would like to read them.
