I'm heading out the door to speak to the dog and cat writers associations at their annual joint convention here in the San Francisco Bay Area, held in conjunction with the Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA) International Cat Show -- the Westminster of cat shows.
My topic will be "The Internet," and I plan on discussing, among other things, blogging. Here's a little photo of Gina and me at last year's conference, although she wasn't able to join me this year.
If you're a member, I hope I saw you there! If not, or if you didn't make it, I'll have a report when I get back.
oh sure, pick a picture where I'm not smiling. Sorry I'm missing the conference this year, and I'm sure not smiling about that.

I thought the whole gravitas thing worked for you.

Gina, you look disgusted.
Christie, you look intense.
I wish to hell I lived in SF again.

I think I was just a little tired. :)
Last year's talk went great, which is why we were asked back this year. And then I bailed, my bad. Christie'll do great, though, I know it!

What's amazing about the internet to me is that people will actually Google "my dog just walked up to me and vomited."
