I wish it was possible to make my living doing nothing but interviewing out gay journalists. Ellen Ratner of FOX News was a great interview, and so was CNN Headline News anchor Thomas Roberts. I interviewed him Wednesday about his recent particaption as a panelist at the National Lesbian and Gay Journalist Association conference (how I love them for putting the word "Lesbian" first in their name!), and of course that's what the interview is about, but I also seriously loved him for another reason:
He won an award for an investigative report that led to the closing of a puppy mill.
He also made my little lesbian heart warm by saying he'd originally come out to his colleagues seven years ago when he fell in love. With the guy he's still with.
I act all tough but you know where it's at for me: Puppies and love. I'm such a girl.
The interview is at afterelton.com.
[UPDATE:] Queerty AND Towleroad both linked to my article, yay! Those are my favorite gay boy blogs.
[UPDATE 2:] Pam's House Blend linked to me too ... my favorite lesbian blogger. I'm having a really good day in the queer blogosphere. ;0
