    Other Places I Blog

    • AfterElton.com
I blog there mostly about movies, actors, and TV shows, but sometimes I sneak in some politics.
    • AfterEllen.com
I don't blog here as frequently as at their brother site, AfterElton.com, but they let my inner Warrior Princess run free now and then when I have news to report about Lucy Lawless, Renee O'Connor, or Xena: Warrior Princess.

Great no-kill coverage, interesting commentary, and news no one else has.

    • Food Politics
Food safety and nutrition scientist and reformer Marion Nestle's blog. Required reading for anyone who, you know, eats stuff.

I thought you were going to talk about that whole dropping Don't Ask reform like a hot rock.

    Christie

The truth is, Christopher, I'm not paying the slightest attention to what he's doing right now, and if in his first two weeks he'd done anything at all on that I'd have died of shock and also, worried... because this country is on the verge of complete collapse and I'm totally fine with him focusing on the economy and learning to use the phones at the new office right now.

That's kind of what the puppy joke was all about. ;)

    Timy

God! You had me going there for a minute! LOL

Why don't you organize an online petition, demanding that the puppy question be resolved before the end of the month. The man has got to get his priorities straight! ;-)

I think he was too busy signing the new children's health bill...

    Christie

Yeah, yeah, there's always an excuse, isn't there?

    Kim

Had me going there for a second, Christie... LOL

    stellaluna

    That's funny!!!

(Have you ever had the *pleasure* of visiting "zootoo.com"? This is the kind of entry that would have people posting and arguing for days on end. Seriously. I think it's a rule that you have to check your sense of humor at the door there.)

Well, he can't very well get a puppy until he decides whether he's going to train it using "purely positive", operant, balanced (tm), Koehler or any other mutually exclusive technique, can he?

    Chris

I think you'll find that he is too busy trying to convince people he needs $1.2 trillion to flog a dead horse.

You'll just have to be patient a little while longer. But remember, good things come to those who wait... ;-)

    Chris

Surely the stimulus package should count as his first dog...

    Christie

"Dog" is a compliment here, so I'd say so, yes.
