I was supposed to be writing an article on the new season of Desperate Housewives for AfterElton.com, focused on ex-Queer as Folk star Gale Harold joining the cast. We interviewed Gale for it, but then he was in a motorcycle accident, so we put it on hold for a while.
But I was watching one of my favorite holiday DVDs the other day and remembered that he'd mentioned it in the interview. I dug out the transcript, and there it was: Gale is a Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer fan.

There just is something endearing about a grown man that loves Rudolph ... in a bewildering, stunning kind of way ... that still leaves me speechless

I think he really did love it, too... he was goofing around, of course, but on the other hand, he remembered the details of Rudolph very well. I mean, not that he wanted to be Burl Ives, LOL, but there is something about Rudolph, isn't there?

I'll be looking for the remake of Rudolph, featuring a much prettier Sam ;) A little beautification goes a long way with the classics ...
