The big poll addiction

Hello, my name is Christie and I'm addicted to 538.com.

I'm not a numbers person, and half the time Nate's diagrams and graphs dissolve into pixels and colors in front of my incomprehending eyes. But all I can tell you is that I hit that site's bookmark two hundred times a day, even though he rarely updates more than 3 or 4 times.

Of course, the last couple of weeks have done nothing but reinforce that; the news has been good. Great, even.

I'm totally unqualified to know if he's good, bad, or indifferent. People I respect think he's good but not infallible (duh); I just know that I can't stay away.

fivethirtyeight.com is a fantastic site. One of the best on the web.

Be prepared to hit reload a couple of times to get into Nate's site. It is running a wee bit slow due to heavy traffic. As person that thinks stats are sexy, fivethirtyeight.com is about as hot as the get.
