Well, I spent some time on the phone with the media relations person at Oklahoma State University Veterinary Medical Center, and she told me that the press release shouldn't have been taken down, and although she was not able to reach Dr. Sanjay Kapil, who is quoted in the release, she did speak with the Dean of the school, who said the information it contains is accurate.
It's now back up.
My thoughts stand.
I will have more for you on this after the weekend.
As to the FDA pet food recall page being updated, they got back to me to tell me they'd get back to me. I'll keep on it.
