As you know, Jon Stewart is the top media god on the Dogged Blog.
A personal favorite of mine, his coverage of the Foley scandal. He showed a clip of Newt Gringrich saying that the reason the Republican leadership didn't act when they found out about Foley, sometime as early as 2002 or as late as 2005 but regardless, long before the rest of us heard about it, is because they'd have been "accused of gay bashing."
Stewart commented that equating a 54-year-old congressman preying on teenagers with "being gay" might be why the Republicans get accused of gay bashing. Ya think?
