Love the shoes but you definitly do not seem like the type to wear heels like that.

Speaking of shoes, since we have a season change going on here in The Nati, I've been buying new boots. I can't stay off Ebay! And my new boots have real heels! I have NEVER worn heels but I am excited about it now.

OMG, I never thought I'd be discussing shoes on Christie's blog.

Tell us more about the house and the dogs and Rosie and stuff.

    Travis

Christie is actually a very girly girl. :)

Well I know she's not all butch because I have seen her picture, you know, I just never thought she'd wear gorgeous shoes that look like that. :)

Guess I'd never think that I'd be wearing knee high boots with heels either though. I am NOT a girly girl. Very much jeans and gymshoes kind of girl - but my %$#@ company has changed our dress codes and no more jeans! :(

    Gil.

Christie's middle name is Imelda. Send her pink sandals with orange plastic flowers over the toes and she's yours forever.

All this time, I've been staring her in the bellybutton and feeling like shortpeople. Now I find out it's just the shoes and she's really about the size of Dr. Ruth.

I can't figure out if I'm disillusioned or not.

    Gina

I've seen her in flats. She's still really, really tall:

Don't believe it. She's standing on a deerhound. Gina is such a friend.

    Judi

Is that a recent pic Gina? Just so ya know, you guys look nothing like the pics on your blogs!!

Damn, Christie, how tall are you?

    Gina

yep, last March. The pic on my blog is pretty recent, too, the difference being that the blog pic was professionally taken for a magazine feature on me, and the mag also sent over people to do hair and make-up.

Needless to say, the frizzy-haired, frazzled, no-makeup look is my more-likely appearance on any given day.

    Gina

oh, but Christie, on the other hand, generally DOES look utterly glam at all times.

    And tall. Really tall.

    :)

Shoes are actually one of my obsessions! I can go away for the weekend and bring six pairs. Or, ummm, more.

LOL Gil... tell yourself that if it makes you feel taller. ;)

I don't? I just looked at that picture Morgan took, the one Gina linked to, and the ones in my profile, and I think think I look basically the same in all of them... no?

Damn, Christie, how tall are you?

5'10" in my bare feet, probably over 6' in the shoes I was wearing in that photo - black boots that I OMG love so much!

    Christie

oh, but Christie, on the other hand, generally DOES look utterly glam at all times.

Sigh, Gina, you've made me so very very happy!

    Judi

    Ok - here is me:

SO not a girly girl. Wish I was.

I just checked the pic Gina sent again and looked at your (C's) blod pics, and you do look the same, but I guess I just assumed you were short.

Gina, I am like you - allegic to makeup. I NEVER wear it.

    Travis

christie?? Honey, sweety pie, angel face. I've seen you wear plenty of lipstick and other makeup products. When we've gone out, you've made me feel absolutely butch, which is QUITE the challenge.

And, of course, you're beautiful in and out of makeup.

    Travis
