    ITMFA

    MeitmfaIf you don't know what it stands for, or how it came to be....

    Sex and love advice columnist Dan Savage, who is a way funny guy, gives very blunt advice to his readers. If they write in with a sad tale of a doomed relationship with a jerk, he tells them: Dump the motherfucker already. Which he says so frequently, it's been abbreviated as DTMFA.

    A while ago he launched a more national, less personal version, impeach the motherfucker already. ITMFA. Caught on.
