So, I got sick. Really sick, the kind where they send you to the ER, which is where I ended up. No sooner do I get home than the flood waters hit - I'm just waiting to be struck by lightning or get the plague.
Focusing my eyes made me throw up, so I couldn't read or write or look at a computer screen. Then the power and my internet service went out due to the floods. A quick trip into town yesterday reminded me that being safe, warm, and dry but bored out of your mind doesn't amount to much when your neighbors' houses are literally under water. I fortunately live on a mountain AND have a generator, so other than the roads and bridges being flooded out and being, you know, TRAPPED here, I was fine.
Glad to have you back Christie! I'm glad you escaped the worst of the flood damamge and are on you way back to health! Missed seeing you blog :-).
